I study politics and popular culture at Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia. I earned my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Georgia in 2007, after completing my MA at Virginia Tech and my BA at King University. My writing has appeared in PS: Political Science & Politics, Game Studies, Studies in Popular Culture, European Political Science Review, and elsewhere. I’m also an amateur game designer and the creator of The Video Game Soda Machine Project.
